Journal 2Peter 1 to 3

Heavenly Father, We come before You with grateful hearts, rejoicing that we can finally gather together in person as a disciples group. Thank You, Lord, for this precious opportunity to meet face-to-face after many weeks of virtual connection. What a blessing it is to share this time of fellowship, worship, and communion with one another. Lord, we are reminded that every good and perfect gift comes from You—including the food prepared today, the friendships we share, and the faith that binds us as one body in Christ. May thy Spirit be present in our conversations, our laughter, and our sharing. As the earth grows warmer and creation groans under strain, we humbly cry out for thy mercy. Send rain, O Lord, to refresh the land, to cool the earth, and to sustain crops and communities. Let thy creation be restored according to thy perfect will. We ask thy protection over each one here and our families. Keep us safe from harm, illness, or despair. Watch over our communities, our ch...

🔥 What Kind of Revival? Speaker : Ms. Ho Gaik Kim Date : 18 May 2025 | WMCMlk 09:00am Revival is not an emotional wave, but a spiritual reformation that restores God's people to a right relationship with Him. Ms. Ho Gaik Kim draws from the lives of King Josiah and the Israelite remnant to highlight the three essential elements of true revival .     ✨ 1. Revived Relationship with God 📖 2 Chronicles 34:3 (NIV) – “In the eighth year of his reign... he began to seek the God of his father David.” 📖 Nehemiah 9:2 (NIV) – “Those of Israelite descent had separated themselves from all foreigners. They stood in their places and confessed their sins…” Revival begins with a deep return to God . Confession and repentance are vital—just as Josiah tore his clothes and Nehemiah’s community wept upon hearing the Law. A revived relationship brings intimacy, dependence, and renewal . 📖 2. Revived Passion for the Word of God 📖 2 Chronicles 34:14 (NIV) –...

🕊️ Sermon Summary: The Road to Damascus Scripture Reference: Acts 9:4-5 (NIV) Speaker:  Rev. Danny Chiew 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” 5 “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. In this powerful sermon, Rev. Danny Chiew walks us through the pivotal moment in Acts 9 where Saul encounters the risen Jesus on the road to Damascus. This divine encounter marks the beginning of Saul’s transformation into Paul—the apostle who would go on to shape much of the New Testament church. 1. Jesus is on the road for YOU Saul’s journey was abruptly interrupted by Jesus—not in condemnation but in grace. Jesus blinds Saul so that he might truly see. In the same way, our salvation is by grace, not merit. Sometimes, we must be “blinded” to our old ways to truly encounter Jesus. Just like Saul, many of us were once blind—chasing ambitions, opinions, or ideologies that opposed God's t...

We are never alone; God’s grace and peace accompany us through every storm. 2.
